Beautiful Picture Frame July 5, 2010 Avid Reviewer (San Jose, CA) We got the Philips Picture Frame almost 3 years ago for displaying our family pictures. We fell in love with it right away the first time we laid eyes on it.
The frame is as functional as it is attractive. It's something you can proudly display on the mantel to show off pictures from your vacation, baby shower, birthday party, and other special occasions - it should serve as a real conversation piece during visits from friends and family.
- Easy to Blend in with Any Décor
With 4 attractive, interchangeable frames, the Philips Digital Picture Frame can be made to blend in with any décor. The glass border around the colored frame adds a touch of elegance.
- Different Transition Effects To Choose From
You can choose the transition effect from one photo to the next e.g. fade, slide show, scroll, etc.
- Other Settings
The brightness and the length of time a picture is displayed can be set.
- SD Card Slot
Simply pop in an SD card with your pictures into the SD card slot on the Philips Picture Frame to display your pictures. Alternatively, You can hook up the picture frame to your computer with a USB cable to transfer your pictures. I personally prefer to use the SD card slot because I think it's a simpler and much quicker way.
- Crystal Clear LCD Display
The 6.5" LCD screen is a high quality, high resolution LCD screen. The pictures displayed are crystal clear and true-to-life.
- Battery vs AC
Once fully charged, the battery will last for 8 hours before it needs another recharge. It's a lot more convenient to just leave it constantly plugged in. If you're worried about power consumption, the unit can be set to turn off during preset times of the day.

The Philips Picture Frame is attractive, reliable, and easy to operate. This frame is definitely worth consideration if you're thinking about purchasing a digital picture frame.
Excellent Photo Frame August 20, 2008 S. Allen I don't really understand the negative reviews. I've had this photo frame for a few months and think that it's fantastic. Features work as promised, picture quality is excellent. My fiancee has had this frame's predecessor for a year and a half and it's worked great the whole time. I completely recommend this product.
Philips 6.5-Inch Digital Photo Frame w/ 4 Interchangable Frames July 14, 2008 Vincent Ho I finally found the perfect digital frame that's I have looking for.
that was very good quality and the picture of this frame is so nice & clear. trust me! you should get one of this.
Philips frames are junk - 3 out of 5 dead in 6 months June 26, 2008 Live Fan (New England) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Overall this is a nice frame in terms of brightness and picture quality. Does not deal well with more than 200 or so pictures on the SD card - when you put more than that on the card the frame will freeze after 5 images in slideshow mode. The work around for this was to start the picture frame without the card in then to put the card in after the frame was on...didn't seem to freeze then. We bought 5 for gifts last Christmas for family. 3 of them are now completely dead (2 within 2 weeks, and 1 lasted 6 months), and everyone we gave them to had problems with getting the SD card to work (tried 5 different brands of SD card, it's the frame, not the cards with problems).
Philips customer support is non-existent - they do not respond to emails, and you can't get them by phone. Because of this I WILL NEVER BUY a Philips product again. This one clearly has serious hardware flaws seen in 5/5 of our frames (SD card does not work consistently), with only 2 out of 5 frames actually working after 6 months...Price and packaging are there to lure you in, but this frame is otherwise a huge waste of money unless you want a frame that will only last a couple of weeks (2 dead in 2 weeks, 1 lasted 6 months).
Had to argue with Amazon to accept them back as well...
disappointing June 15, 2008 P. G. Jaffee (Central Massachusetts) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this model about 18 months ago. First, the internal memory is inadequate. The support is poor. And, after 18 months the whole thing just stopped working. I would NOT recommend this item.
